Deep, dark colour, with reflections that unfold. In the nose aromas of toast, black berry and blueberry yogurt, blackberry, but also game, black pepper and sweet spices. Fresh and strong on the palate, full and soft with a long finish on hints of liquorice and black fruits.

climate

Mediterranean climate with little precipitation, dominated by the mistral, a hard, cold north wind that usually lasts for several days. Very dry region, the driest of the Rhône area with many stones in the vineyards.

soil

Fairly heavy, very gravelly soil, mainly consisting of sandy soil with large rounded boulders and a subsoil of red clay.

vinification

The wines rest in concrete vats and consist mainly of Grenache, supplemented with Mourvèdre and Syrah.
